Sake2Me — Review by RainaisCrazy
Chino Hills, United States — Japanese Sushi
The reviewer took on Sake2Me's 80-piece sushi challenge, which requires finishing all pieces within 30 minutes to get the meal free plus an all-you-can-eat pass. The sushi looked impressive and tasted delicious, though the deep fried rolls made the challenge physically demanding.
What was great: The sushi looked amazing, deep fried rolls were delicious, impressive presentation of the challenge platter
What could improve: Deep fried rolls were very filling and difficult to eat in large quantities, reviewer doesn't typically eat raw items
The Dishes
The challenge featured 80 pieces of sushi, with a notable emphasis on deep fried rolls. The reviewer appreciated the visual presentation of the massive platter and found the sushi itself to be delicious. However, the deep fried preparation made the challenge significantly more difficult than it might have been with traditional sushi, as the fried coating added substantial heaviness with each piece consumed.
The Experience
The restaurant staff was welcoming and supportive throughout the challenge attempt. The reviewer had 30 minutes to complete the task and appeared to be making good progress with encouragement from the establishment. The atmosphere was friendly and engaging, with staff celebrating the challenger's efforts.
Value and Pricing
The challenge offers excellent value for those who complete it within the time limit, as winners receive the entire 80-piece meal completely free along with an all-you-can-eat pass. This is a significant incentive for sushi enthusiasts willing to take on the competitive eating challenge.
Notable Moments
I'm actually pretty impressed. I didn't need to take this meal off.
When do sushi challenges helps a lot. It melts all the rice. So when I have to make it a lot harder for myself cuz I don't eat raw stuff, but eating all deep fried rolls is very difficult.
The Verdict
Sake2Me is recommended for anyone in the Chino Hills area looking for quality sushi and an exciting dining experience. The restaurant is particularly worth visiting if you enjoy competitive eating challenges or want to test your sushi consumption skills while potentially earning a free meal.
